The Studio

g ceramic & co. is a boutique studio in the Beaumont on Alberta and West 5th Ave. Bright, with tonnes of natural light and a view of downtown, g ceramic & co. is a tranquil place to work, a space that offers support and enables growth within your practise. All pottery classes and workshops are small with a maximum of 6 students. This enables a direct focus on one on one instruction for maximum technique development.

Studio Rentals

Looking to take your practise to the next level? Apply now for a rental space in the studio with 24/7 studio access.* You get are able to use a variety of tools and equipment as well as a use of Glaze Materials for testing purposes. Contact to set up a consultation today!

Workshops

The Workshops are a one time solution that are 4 hours in length. Date Night, and Girl’s Night are offered on Fridays with beverages & snacks to make it a unique and personable experience. All levels welcome- you get to work on what you want with each student receiving one on one instruction! Technique Specific Workshops are available on Saturday Mornings and focus on a variety of skills- Mugs, Lidded Forms, Large Scale are just a few. Bring a friend- or three!

Pottery Classes

The Classes run for 4 weeks, with each week’s session 2.5 hours in length. g ceramic & co. offers Introductory Classes focusing on beginner wheel throwing techniques- Wedging, Centering, Throwing, and Trimming. Intermediate Classes delve further into the wheel throwing techniques and focus on the efficiency of throwing – time spent on each piece; wall thickness; different methods of trimming- to take your skills to the next level. Advanced Students please see technique specific work shops or contact for one on one sessions.

Drop in Classes

Need a refresher after taking the four week course? Drop in a Class! If there are spots available you are able to drop into a class! Please note that clay is not provided, but available for purchase if necessary at the start of class. Only clay approved may be used in the studio. Classes are 3 hours in length!

Drop In Studio Sessions

Currently enrolled or previously taken a class at g ceramic & co.? You are able to enrol in a Studio Session! It’s a free studio work time with no instruction to practise the skills and techniques you learned during class time!
