Regular price $90.00

Proof of vaccination will be required for our classes. As per the PHO, you must have at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine to attend a workshop. By October 24, you must be fully vaccinated.

Wheel Throwing: When you arrive at the studio everything will be set up for you. The instructor will do a couple of demos to start things off. Focus for the workshop will be on the studio experience, and trying your hand at clay! Each student gets to try six times, and keep up to two items which will be trimmed, glazed and fired for you. Your masterpieces will be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after the workshop.

Hand Building: You will learn hand building techniques and create special pieces of art with clay. It's up to you if you want to make functional pieces or decorative sculptures.

The workshops are great for those who have a challenging schedule but want to try ceramics, or those with prior experience who want to work on a specific skill. The Workshop is one evening, 3 hours in length, $90 per person. Clean up is 30 minutes prior to end time.

If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to ask! While you are able to keep up to two items, due to the nature of the process there is no guarantee that work will make it through the firings. It's in the hands of the kiln gods. Please be aware we may have dogs on premises, and use diffusers with essential oils. If you have any allergies please notify me prior to class. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH ANY WORK OTHER THAN YOURS. All shelves, including your work waiting to be fired is off limits. For the duration of your class please remain in designated areas. In the event that your instructor is sick, your class may be rescheduled or another qualified instructor may step in. g ceramic & co. reserves the right to refuse service to person(s) who do not comply with studio guidelines.
